We are seeking a dedicated and personable part-time receptionist to join our orthopedic practice in Bristol, VA. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and organized environment. Your responsibilities will include managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
salary: $14 - $15 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Greet and check-in patients in a professional and courteous manner
Answer multi-line phone system, transfer calls, and take messages
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
Collect and verify patient information and insurance details
Assist with patient paperwork and maintain accurate records
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Perform general administrative duties, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Handle inquiries and provide information about office services
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (For the time being, the schedule would work one week on, two weeks off)
Potential for Growth: This position may transition into a permanent part-time or full-time role.
