Key Responsibilities: Provide direct special education services to students in grades K-8 with a range of disabilities, including but not limited to Autism, Learning Disabilities, Emotional Impairments, Speech/Language Impairments, and more. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students on caseload, ensuring that all educational needs are met in accordance with state and federal regulations. Caseload Details: The caseload includes students with a mix of disabilities across grades K-8, with a focus on 8 out of the 13 disabilities classified by the Michigan Department of Education. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Special Education (required), Masters degree (preferred). Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification.
