Position Overview: We have openings for two full-time School Sign Language Interpreters to support a female preschool student and a male high school freshman, both of whom require dedicated ASL interpretation. This role is essential in facilitating communication and ensuring academic success for our students. Key Responsibilities: Provide in-person interpretation for a female preschool student who communicates solely through ASL. Support a male high school freshman who also uses ASL for communication and may transfer to a Deaf school in the spring. Facilitate communication between students and teachers, ensuring understanding and engagement in the classroom. Work closely with educators and staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Qualifications: Minimum EIPA score of 3.5 or RID certification.
