Direct Counsel has partnered with a premier, internationally recognized law firm in their search for a 3rd to 5th year associate to join the M&A and Private Equity Litigation group. The ideal candidate has experience with GAAP, auditing private or public financial statements, and high-stakes disputes.
The position offers career growth and working directly with senior members of the group and expert witnesses on matters involving indemnification claims, fraud claims, earn-out disputes, and a variety of significant portfolio company litigation.
a J.D. and CPA License are required. Candidates without a CPA license will not be considered Outstanding academic credential and excellent written and verbal communication skills Law firm experience experience with GAAP, auditing private or public financial statements, and high stakes disputes The expected annual pay range for this position is $250,000 to $325,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
