Brown & Brown is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Employee Benefits Team in Meridian, ID ! WHAT YOU'LL DO: Support a team of Account Managers Review and update plan attributes in the Benefits Account Management System following each renewal Work with carriers to request materials for customers (e.g., Open Enrollment materials) and/or follow up on previous requests made by the Account Managers Support Account Managers with processing adds, terms or changes to employee enrollments Communicate with carriers regarding customer billing discrepancies or simple claims issues Generate personalized forms for each customer (e.g., Annual Compliance Notices) Review carrier contracts for accuracy Draft employee communications materials for peer review by Account Managers Request information from insurance carriers on behalf of our customers Read and respond to all emails within 1 business day Maintain an appropriate level of confidentially of information processed Duties are done in a team environment Attend in-house educational sessions/classes as requested by leadership Any other tasks the department deems necessary WHAT YOU'LL NEED: High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, etc.) Strong oral and written communication skills Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills Willingness to obtain Life & Health License WHAT WE OFFER: Excellent growth and advancement opportunities Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Generous benefits package: health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company contribution Employee Stock Purchase Plan Tuition Reimbursement Student Loan Repayment Program
