What Youll Do:
Our Advanced Industries Practice is seeking an Account Executive to join our team out of our Denver, CO, office!
This is a great opportunity to work side by side with exceptional professionals focusing on the technology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and digital asset industries.

Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintains overall responsibility for assigned book of business for all aspects of IMAs program design, ongoing service plan, and alignment of internal and external insurance services.Maintains overall responsibility of the entire renewal (design, placement, and structure; setting the game plan; coverage and loss analysis; review of policy and relevant documents; coverage & premium discrepancy issues; data completeness within AMS, etc.)
for assigned book of business.Crafts the marketing strategies, reviews submissions, and engages in negotiations with underwriters to determine the relevant content to include in proposals.Supports in winning new business through development of insurance program for new accounts.Maintains intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year in order to structure a strong, long-term partnership with assigned clients.Prepares for and facilitates meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clients.Pursues mastery of the craft through on-going education and awareness of industry trends, products, and services.Develops & maintains carrier relationships.Manages a book of business that is typically 25-40 clients with approximate revenue of $1.3 Million - $1.7 Million.50% of book of business revenue is within the Emerging market.50% - 60% of book of business revenue is within the middle market, independent of Account Executive Level 3 coaching.Plays a lead role on three or more large/complex client accounts.Spends 5-10% of time supporting producers in winning new business.Supports and demonstrates IMAs core values.Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.#LI-JS1 You Should Have::
5+ years experience in insurance or related industry based on the assigned book of business.Ability to think strategically based on clients priorities and marketplace cycle.Strong communication skills both written and verbal.Experience leading and developing people.Ability to delegate and hold team & partners accountable.Active growth in client & team management capabilities with mentorship from Level 3 Account Executive.Organized, goal oriented, results achiever with strong negotiation capabilities and ability to strategically align client expectations with marketplace cycle.Experience working within Applied Epic preferred.Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel).Travel required (up to 40% based on client book of business).Maintains increased technical knowledge, both insurance industry and book of business industries.Autonomously responsible for all final aspects of assigned book of business.Holds state property & casualty insurance license.Holds general insurance designation preferred.Holds or pursuing formal specialty designation (ARM, CPCU, Industry specific designation) preferred. While this is the targeted range, final offer amounts will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidates geographic location and prior relevant experience, as well as their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
