Position Overview:
As an Accountant at Diversified Career Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. We are looking for candidates at all levels of experience, from entry-level to senior-level positions. Your adaptability and reliability will be key in navigating the dynamic nature of our work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of necessary documentation. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Respond to inquiries from management and external stakeholders regarding financial matters. Participate in audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Effective decision-making abilities, with a focus on problem-solving. Adaptable and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership over your work.
