Job Description Job Description : The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in the Finance and Accounting department at Client. This position will work directly with the CFO and closely with members of our Operations, Business Development, and Integrations teams as they seek to support our partner dental practices and teams. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in providing accurate and timely financial statements and reporting to our management team and partner practices to enable our clinical teams to focus on patient care and efficiency. Periodically, they will assist management on special projects that provide support to our dental partners.
Responsibilities Responsible for month-end close, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, and maintaining supporting schedules associated with closing journal entries Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for leadership and external investors Assist the CFO in ensuring that financial systems, procedures, and controls are developed and maintained which enhance the overall financial condition of the Company while enforcing financial discipline and ensuring the security of the company's assets Independently prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including preparation of bank reconciliations, to support the close process and ensure they conform to US GAAP Maintenance and reconciliation of fixed-asset accounts Provide support to AP department in reviewing invoices for proper classification Implement and optimize accounting and reporting processes through available technology, systems, and policy Coordinate and manage financial information and support to outside auditors, government agencies, tax consultants and other organizations Critical Skills Ability to execute month-end and quarterly close activities for a multi-location group Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central and other accounting systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, specifically advanced Excel Ability to analyze large transactional data sets (i.e., pivot tables, v-lookup) Familiarity with constructing financial statements (B/S, P&L, SCF) from trial balances Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, accept instructions, and handle vendor contracts, among other tasks Attention to detail and ability to multi-task Commitment to providing excellent service to our partner dental practices Able to work on own initiative and be self-motivated to drive projects to completion Computer literacy in use of spreadsheets, online systems, and remote communications Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field of study 5+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years' experience in a Senior Accountant role Accounting experience in Healthcare industry required Certified Public Accountants are preferred, but not required Audit experience in a public accounting firm is a plus Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
