Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making. Cost Accounting: Oversee cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Ensure accurate and timely recording of manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead. Conduct periodic reviews of cost structures and recommend cost-saving initiatives. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process for the manufacturing division. Develop and maintain financial forecasts, including cash flow projections and capital expenditure plans. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis. Internal Controls and Compliance: Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws. Coordinate and support internal and external audits. Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals. Provide training and guidance on accounting principles, systems, and procedures. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function. Leverage technology and automation to streamline accounting processes. Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and improve overall business performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a manufacturing preferred Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
