As an Accounting Manager at Curaleaf, you will play a vital role in leading financial operations for a fast-growing, publicly traded industry leader. This impactful position focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving innovative process improvements that support Curaleaf's continued growth. We're seeking a self-starter who takes initiative, identifies opportunities for improvement, and leads with confidence.
What You'll Do:
Lead and streamline daily accounting operations, overseeing journal entries for cash management, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany transactions to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
Reconcile accounts and bank statements while analyzing general ledger and fixed asset activities
Lead and support internal and external audits while ensuring SOX compliance and alignment with public company reporting standards
Collaborate with the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams to proactively resolve customer and vendor management issues
Prepare, review, and analyze internal financial reports to provide stakeholders with valuable insights that drive informed business decisions and support strategic growth
Lead technical accounting projects and develop policies that strengthen internal controls and support scalable business growth
Inspire, mentor, and lead the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on growth and excellence
What You'll Bring:
You bring 7+ years of accounting experience with expertise in general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial analysis
You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
You have extensive knowledge of accounting practices, ideally within a publicly traded company or similar dynamic environment
You have advanced Excel skills (including V-lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas), proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), and a strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance
You bring strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, team-driven environments
