Accounting/Payroll Specialist

Local CPA Firm is seeking a knowledgeable Payroll Specialist for immediate hire in our Nags Head office. This is a part-time position with great work hours.
A Payroll Specialist will have the ability to use payroll software while ensuring accuracy of input and efficiency of time on projects. They will also possess great communication skills needed to interact with clients in addition to being good with numbers and trusted with sensitive information.
Responsibilities:Receive payroll information on hours worked, calculate tips, overtime.Recordkeeping of client and employee information, pay rates, deductions, garnishments.Calculate payroll using the assistance of computer software.Payment of employment taxes and employee benefits.Prepare quarterly and annual reports.Provide assistance with clients on all payroll-related information.Please forward your resume, letter of application, and salary requirements to ******** for consideration.
