**Job Description:**

Broadcom is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team and support our growing organization. This is a full-time, remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing significantly to our operational excellence. You will play a critical role in managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with internal controls while fostering effective communication with various departments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Invoice Processing**:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all invoices are coded correctly in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

2. **Payment Management**:
- Coordinate and execute payment runs for vendor invoices, ensuring that payment terms are adhered to and discounts are maximized.
- Maintain a schedule for payment processing to optimize cash flow and vendor relationships.

3. **Vendor Relationships**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries related to payment status, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate efficient accounts payable operations.

4. **Reconciliation**:
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness in financial reporting.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accrual calculations and journal entries.

5. **Reporting**:
- Provide timely reports on accounts payable aging, payment forecasts, and other financial metrics as required by management.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to prepare financial statements and assist in audits.

6. **Compliance and Controls**:
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies regarding accounts payable processes.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the accounts payable function.

7. **Project Management**:
- Participate in special projects related to accounts payable, including system transitions, automation initiatives, and process improvements.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for the accounts payable team.

**Requirements:**

- **Education**: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

- **Personal Traits**:
- Highly motivated and independent, with a self-starting attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions.

- **Soft Skills**:
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
