Accounts Receivable Deduction Clerk

We have generated an extensive product portfolio that includes frozen dispensed beverages, cold dispensed, hot dispensed and beverage enhancers. This position involves the researching of all customer deductions and is responsible for disputing deductions, reconciling customer accounts and creating credit memos. The ability to post customer payments as needed will also be required.
Major Job Functions Heavy emphasis on researching, reconciling and disputing deductions. Collaborate with sales, logistics and our orders team. Resolve deductions and payment discrepancies efficiently and promptly. Process credit memos and accurately match credits to outstanding deductions. Cash Application tasks as needed. Audit support. Other duties as assigned. Ideal Requirements Communicate with customers via phone and/or email. Office administration and bookkeeping procedures. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information. Intermediate Excel skills Strong data entry General math knowledge. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong problem-solving skills. Verbal and written communication. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Use of standard office equipment. Knowledge of logistics terminology and processes would be helpful. Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and internal team. Experience 3+ years accounts receivable and general accounting experience. Office Environment This job operates in a professional, business casual environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
