Accounts Receivable manager The Accounts Receivable manager supervises all functions of the billing department. This can include, but not limited to:medical billing which includes expertise of Insurance Billing with CPT/Diagnostic codes; Medicare and Medicaid, OPWDD, OCFS, and SED. The overall responsibility will be to supervise the proper accounting and reporting for all revenue that comes into the agency. Training and supervising accounts receivable staff to complete monthly reconciliations and billings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
» supervise all billing and cash receipts for the agency and supervise the accounts receivable bookkeepers and Accountants.
» supervise all insurance billing and balance billing on a timely basis
» supervise clinic productivity
»Assist with Month-end closing procedures for the agency as needed
»Assist in preparation of the year-end financial audit
»Assist with the completion of required reporting for all revenue related items
Qualifications
General Requirements: »Bachelors in Accounting required
» 3-5 years of related practice in supervision in a billing environment.
» expertise of insurance billing and practice with OPWDD, OCFS, or SED will be preferred.
