Job Description The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Acquisition Manager to support the DIA's Chief Information Officer (CIO-5) Business Operations and Governance Division in Washington, DC. This role involves enhancing and implementing a comprehensive acquisition process to meet stakeholder objectives and improve governance.
Responsibilities: Manage customer and stakeholder objectives, processes, and governance. Provide senior-level consulting for end-to-end acquisition services. Advise on acquisition strategies, documentation, and governance oversight. Oversee multiple award and task order efforts. Support acquisition governance boards and technical meetings. Maintain acquisition plans and program control functions. Coordinate with technical experts and contracting offices. Recommend improvements for acquisition processes and transition strategies. Develop agile business tools and processes. Align business and acquisition processes with best practices. Educate stakeholders on the acquisition lifecycle. Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications Active TS/SCI and be able to pass a CI Poly At least twelve 15 years of experience as a DOD/IC Acquisition program manager providing management and direction to senior and mid-level personnel. Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience and/or Master's degree or advanced training in DoD/IC Acquisition program management Excellent oral and written communication skills with customer, team, and leadership. Understanding of the IC, IC ITE, DoD, and DIA acquisition frameworks and architectures. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD FAR Supplements (DFARs), and/or DoD Acquisition 5000 Series and ICD 801.
