About this role
Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.
Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities.
Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.

Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Construction Management or related discipline as appropriate to the program AND two years of related experience in the "Areas of Related Industry Experience" listed below

OR

Bachelor's degree or higher in construction management or a related discipline AND three years of related industry experience in in the "Areas of Related Industry Experience" listed below

OR

Associates degree in Construction Management or a related discipline and four years of related experience in the "Areas of Related Industry Experience" listed below

Areas of Related Industry Experience Residential and Commercial materials and methods.Experience with technical drawings and software.Building codes and ordinancesLEED and the Green Building Initiative with experience on renewable energy and construction material as it relates to construction materials and processes.Construction surveying methods.Construction estimating with experience in residential and commercial takeoffs, specification, and plan review.Scheduling and planning methods.
Knowledge of various industry software applications used to aid contractors in the scheduling and planning of projectsEnvironmental health and safety, experience with OSHA procedures and site safety practices in an industrial setting. AND Documentation in two or more of the following:

a.
Teaching and/or industry training experience in Construction Management or construction-related industry consistent with professional associations

b.
Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelor's degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU's, vendor, or military.

c.
General Contractor/ Building Inspector

d.
Current industry-recognized certification within the field of construction management (certified building inspector, OSHA Construction industry trainer, certified construction manager, etc.
)

Knowledge about the building construction industry and knowledge of the following subject areas but not limited to:
