General Functions:Provide administrative support for weekend ministry needs, church calendar, room management, and events. Coordinate weekend counting, train volunteers, and manage the ROCK data management system.
Supervision Received:Reports directly to the Life Development Pastor at Torrey Pines Church. Employee seeks authorization for a broad scope of tasks.
Scope & Dimensions:Interact with all staff and volunteers to ensure excellence and dependable programs, ministry efforts, and equipping for assigned tasks.
Responsibilities:Recruit and lead volunteers for ministry teams and work alongside leaders to build quality ministry teams.Provide administrative support for the Growth Groups ministry.Oversee the care of the facility.Use the ROCK for tracking and updating all data regarding Torrey Pines Church.Experience And Educational Requirements:Experience with data entry, internet communications, and organizational skills.Two years of experience in a related environment.Additional Responsibilities:Additional duties as assigned.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:Mobile – In and out of the office to ensure task completion.Overtime hours as required by ministry needs.Church staff must abide by the Cultural Expectations (tithe, attendance, conduct, etc.).Terms of Employment:As a staff member at EastLake Community Church, I agree to abide by all provisions of the Employee Handbook.The Church reserves the right, at any time, with or without notice, to alter or change job responsibilities, reassign or transfer job positions, or assign additional job responsibilities.This position is classified as a PART TIME paid position and is EXEMPT from the overtime provisions, as stated in the Employee Handbook.Want to Apply?If you'd like to apply, please email ******** with your resume and indicate the position you are interested in.
