Position Summary Deerfield Group is seeking a Project Manager (PM) with pharmaceutical advertising agency experience who will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of digital and print marketing projects for our clients. This role requires a strong balance of client interaction, team collaboration, and project management skills, ensuring all work is strategically aligned, completed on time, within budget, and adheres to Deerfield standards. Key Responsibilities Client Interaction: Drive tactical execution of all projects/programs Develop project plans, manage timelines, track finances, coordinate resources and drive efficiencies across the agency Partner with Account team to understand client project goals and requirements Contribute to client proposals and quotes with oversight from management Ensure accurate details are reflected in all project plans Ensure the work is on budget, on time, and meets quality standards Technical Expertise: Trafficking work in a timely manner throughout the life cycle of a project Manage systems/tools that contribute to project/program success (WF/Gitlab) Schedule and support a project kickoff meeting, along with frequent check-ins Monitor project progress and clear roadblocks as able while escalating if unable Follow Deerfield best practices as it relates to documentation storage, movement, and naming Establishing and managing project scope Review and consolidate feedback/comments within PDFs, and track overall process Experience to work on small/medium sized print jobs, emails, and banners Communication: Build strong working relationships with all producers of work Streamline communication between internal team members Work effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders Clearly articulate project status, milestones, and key decisions effectively to ensure alignment and transparency, and escalate potential risks in a timely manner Deliver final project summary to the client Creative Thinking: Use strategic thinking to anticipate timeline challenges and implement corrective actions as needed Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle Collaboration: Consistent collaboration with shared resources during the life cycle of the project Productive and effective participation in cross-functional meetings Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing Team Leadership: Assist in mentoring entry level project coordinators Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising Knowledge of digital and print advertising workflows and regulatory compliance in pharmaceuticals Proficiency in project management software Proficient in Veeva systems Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail Strong scheduling and time management experience Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities At Deerfield, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic work environment, so if this role and our culture excite you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not have the exact experience or meet all requirements outlined in this job posting.
