Description
Salad & Sandwich cooks are responsible for the daily preparation and execution of all food items in the cold / hot station and assisting in other areas of the kitchen.
LINE COOK TASKS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Setting up stations according to restaurant guidelines Preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner Restocking all items needed throughout shift Cleaning and maintaining stations while practicing good safety, sanitation and organizational skills Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas Performing additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager Adhering to all Spinato's Specifications and Recipes Adhering to all Spinato's Policies and Procedures as stated in your employee handbook Adhering to all proper food handling procedures as set forth by the local Health Board Agency Station Roles
Salad: Will plate and sell all tickets on salad line Demonstrate correct knowledge on ticket priorities Understand when to sell tickets without being prompted by expo Make all desserts Effectively float to sandwich station or assist in prep when station is slow Sandwich: Plate and sell all tickets on sandwich line Demonstrate correct knowledge of ticket priorities Thoroughly read tickets and take lead on firing of any non-pizza tickets Effectively float to salad station or assist in prep when station is slow Float: Goes between both salad and sandwich station assisting with tickets or prep Show knowledge of which station needs most attention and know correct priorities of what needs to be done When both stations do not need help assist rest of kitchen or dish with what needs to be done
