In this role, you will be responsible for serving food and beverages to guests while ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Employment Type:  Full Time, Year-Round
Start Date:  ASAP
Pay Rate:  $13.65/hour + Tips
Schedule:  Flexible schedule. Must be able to work weekends, and holidays when needed.
Responsibilities: Greet guests and take their food and beverage orders. Respond to and resolve any special dietary requests. Serve food and beverages to guests in the order they were placed. Check guest identification to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol purchases. Properly clean and set meeting rooms and banquet functions as per specifications. Ensure proper care and movement of all equipment such as tables and chairs. Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction. Observe guests, anticipate their needs, and ensure their satisfaction with the food, beverages, and service. Remove courses, replenish utensils, and refill glasses as needed. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards. Stock and maintain banquet area stock levels. Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Contribute to the team's efficiency and effectiveness by offering suggestions and participating actively. Demonstrate courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with guests and staff, promoting a harmonious workplace environment. Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED. One (1) year of food and beverage service experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions. Principles and practices of customer service. Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Techniques for interacting with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds, in person and over the phone. Ability to focus on guests and provide quality customer service. Efficient and effective customer service skills. Maintaining appropriate inventory of supplies and materials. Effective oral and written communication. Organizing work, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
