Details:

Exempt position
Works business hours, Monday through Friday.
Weekend or evening hours, only as needed to support projects
JOB SUMMARY:

Assist user departments in optimizing their functional use of SMC clinic-based applications. Help staff access and coordinate the use and support of vendor and IT Departments' resources to resolve system problems and achieve their goals. Utilize electronic ticketing system to open, modify, track and update incidents and user requests. Document incident solutions, SMC processes and user department workflows for IT knowledge base. Serve as project manager to coordinate the implementation efforts for new systems and system upgrades.

QUALIFICATIONS:
BS in business, IT, or healthcare related field preferred.
Previous experience with NextGen, Greenway and/or Onco EMR software is preferred.
Healthcare information technology experience preferred.
Proficient in use of Windows based business and clinical/healthcare software/hardware applications.
Must have exceptional critical thinking and analytical thinking skills, business English communication skills.
Interest in and enthusiasm for computer technology and it's potential for improving departmental and interdepartmental efficiency as well as improve patient outcomes.
Must be able to autonomously in the clinic environment.
Possess effective communication skills, pro-active attitude, effective interaction with peers and upper management, good.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
Must be able to converse with others in person and over the telephone.
Able to go to any department in the building and to off-site locations.
Manual dexterity is required.
Must be able to perform assigned duties in the outpatient clinic environment, among physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff.
