Responsibilities
We currently have a great opportunity available for a Sales Quote Analyst I.
This role serves as the primary contact for the Sales teams regarding financial modeling and proposal customizations.
The Specialist will act as the Subject Matter Expert for the Configure, Price, Quote system and also be responsible for performing user training and maintaining training materials.
This role works collaboratively with internal teams across all departments of the organization to improve sales organization processes.
In order to meet customer requirements and deadlines, the Specialist must -clearly understand products and systems and possess the skills to prioritize multiple requests while communicating in a professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1.
Sales Operations Project Management: Work directly with direct and distribution field sales teams to construct customized, complex customer financial proposals in the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) system ensuring overall corporate guidelines are adhered to and necessary approvals are obtained.
This includes promotions and modeling for internal teams to calculate the financials and supporting documentation to enable business decisions.
Serve as first line responder for troubleshooting and issue/error resolution of CPQ system functions.
Escalate CPQ system enhancement requests to Sales Operations Management and/or Sales Systems team.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of CPQ system - integration with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and SAP.
Document and test the issues to replicate and work with internal teams and vendor as needed to have resolution within systems.
Actively participate in projects and contribute to the development and testing of new processes within CPQ system as assigned.

Marketing Operations Project Management: Work directly with Marketing and internal operational teams to gather the required information and help with completion of requests from the Project Request Form for system set-up, enhancement requests, and discontinuation of products.
Support continuous improvement of user experience with useful data within systems and processes by proactively identifying potential challenges.
This includes conduct user testing and document instructions in testing environment and production system.
Effectively communicate status of requests and timeline to project team and sales management.

Contracts and Financial Accounting: Assist Contracts and Financial Accounting groups in the monitoring, evaluation, analysis and restatement of existing customer lease or cost-per-reportable (CPR) contracts.
Complete the calculations for CPR compliance and audits as well for Sales with the hybrid CPRs.

Sales Order Process Ownership: Go beyond the CPQ system and understand business process in order to drive requirements, priorities, and streamline processes.
Be the primary lead for specified tasks determined by management.
Work effectively with Sales, Sales Operations, Contracts, Service Contracts, OneVoice and SMEs to prepare supporting documentation to process a sales order.
Cross train and serve as back-up for processing of sales order contract packages during heavy volume periods (quarter, fiscal year end) or on behalf of sales depending on business needs.
This includes creating and evaluating workflow solutions for the various scenarios.
Facilitate effective business user sessions gathering background information of current state and the future state to determine the necessary paperwork and validate the calculations.

Training: Create, maintain and update training material (Documentation, Videos, Meetings, etc.)
for new hires and others for onboarding and as needed.
Provide support to other departments in understanding modeling methodology such as Field Sales, Service, Product Marketing, Contracts, Service Contracts, OneVoice, Collections and Finance for specific projects.
Update the documentation and provide ongoing support to maintain system instructions and information to be shared.
6.
Teamwork: Contribute to the development and of new processes and enhancements within CPQ system.
Suggest future enhancements, participate during implementation and testing of these enhancements to streamline processes.
Learn from and assist within the department and cross-functional team members on other Sales Systems such as CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management), SAP, PowerBI, and others.
7.
Projects: Identify and work on projects as needed and lead from start to finish with team through its entirety.
This includes providing updates and presenting to management and leadership.
This includes assigned projects from leadership and collaborative projects from other teams and departments.
8.
Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years required experience in one of the following areas Sales , Sales Support, Sales Services, Sales Operations, which may include experience in the Armed Forces.
English proficiency Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs Basic Excel skills required CRM experience-Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred CPQ experience CLM experience Strong business and technical understanding of relevant technologies and systems required Strong internal and external communication skills Organization skills, including flexibility, thoroughness, accuracy and care in handling details Collaborative skills, including strong/concise communication, willingness and ability to work well with others, problem-solving skills, and ability to influence others Strong analytical and financial analysis skills and attention to detail Project management experience a plus Sysmex is proud to be an EEO/Affirmative Action employer.
