Analyzer Technician
Troubleshoot, repair, and install complex analytical and emission monitoring equipment.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Repair and maintain a variety of analytical equipment, i.e., CEM's, process analyzers.
Install new analytical equipment.
Review/direct contractor analytical equipment installations.
Maintain maintenance records on all analyzers.
Support CEM's Team through active participation and support.
Maintain and manage analyzer spare parts inventory, including cylinder gas storage rack.
This includes filling out stocking requests.
Provide data logs, maintenance records and reports, as necessary to HS & E Department.
Develop, improve, and implement analyzer P.M.'s Provide off-hours analytical support to the refinery.
Fill out all timesheets accurately.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
required.
Courses in electronics, electricity and instrumentation required.
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Instrument Technician maintaining instrument equipment in the petrochemical industry required.
Analytical education and training a strong plus.
An Analyzer Technician should be knowledgeable of basic math, algebra, some trigonometry, basic electronics and electricity (ohm's Law and Kirchoff's Law), physical science, fundamentals of hydraulics and basic of heat transfer.
Previous demonstrated analyzer experience a strong plus.
