Job Summary: Dexian is seeking a Application Programmer V for an opportunity with a client located in Glen Allen, VA. Responsibilities: Working with business partners to understand data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity Understand advantages/disadvantages of various data profiling tools and be able to translate those capabilities to business partners Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data quality requirements and metrics Provide training and support to end-users data quality best practices and tools Develop and maintain documentation related to data quality processes Requirements: Experience working as a Data Analyst in a Data warehouse/Data governance platform Strong analytical and problem solving skills Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data visualization tools Critical thinking Ability to understand and examine complex datasets Ability to interpret Data quality results and metrics Knowledge of Data quality standards and processes Basic understanding of what Data quality means and various ways one can measure quality of data Proven experience in a Data Quality Analyst or similar role Experience with data quality tools such as Informatica, Power Curve, or Collibra DQ is preferred Certifications in data management or quality assurance (e.g. Certified Data Management Expertise in SQL Working knowledge of Data Modeling Working knowledge of Any Data quality tools (Informatica DQ, Collibra DQ), and experience in creating data quality rules SQL Server, Oracle (Exadata) Collibra DQ Experience Banking Industry experience Education Requirements:Bachelors (or higher) degree in Computer Science or Equivalent Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
