Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Application Support Analyst I is responsible for support for applications used by Bayview business groups.
This includes both internally developed applications and vendor COTS applications.
Support includes troubleshooting issues with the applications as well as maintenance, validation and upgrades.
This position works closely with other IT teams and business units to provide service and support.
The Application Support Analyst gives guidance and provides 2nd line of support on applications needing full assistance.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000, plus an annual bonus.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to quickly assess system issues and coordinate and partner across the business and IT in order to trouble-shoot and resolve system issues.
Maintains given metrics for support controls and processes.
Maintains and provides support information from the Application Support Knowledge Base.
Assist with overall maintenance scheduling and work with help desk to filter appropriate calls to support.
Provides second-level technical support for numerous applications.

Work closely with business and other teams to provide support and ensure quick assistance to meet SLAs.
Responsible for maintain ticketing queue for assignments, and is held accountable for the overall accuracy of the documentation of trouble tickets and resolutions.
Monitor and provide overall KPIs to senior management.
Ensure adherence to architecture standards, use of standard templates and practices to ensure repeatable processes in the Application Support arena.
Engage in hands-on, in-depth analysis, review, and implementation of applications built and supported.
Will provide On-Call coverage on nights and weekends, with responsibilities including monitoring for problem alerts and performing application validation as part of upgrades.
Qualifications:
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: Minimum of 2 years in Application Support role Minimum of 2 years knowledge of SQL Knowledge of computer applications, data processing methods, and data processing equipment.
Understanding of technical logs and trouble-shooting Experience with Service Now Support and Administration Knowledge and experience in supporting Highly Available software/hardware solutions is preferred.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Databases: SQL knowledge including Oracle and SQL Server 2008 2016 preferred.
Monitoring Tools: SPLUNK and/or Solar Winds experience a plus Systems: Unix, Linux, AIX, Windows a plus EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or higher.
