Responsibilities
• Contribute to the built environment through contemporary design• Serve as a project leader in the realization of a design vision• Work and coordinate with a full range of project consultants• Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, estimates• Resolve complex aesthetic and technical challenges• Work with clients, contractors, and consultants in design team meetings• Develop code reviews• Collaborate on diverse and broad range of project types• Make significant contributions to design and the office• Knowledge of construction methods
Requirements
• BArch or MArch degree from an accredited university• Minimum of 3-5 years professional experience with architectural firm• Strong design abilities• Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills• Professional experience using REVIT and SketchUp software• Strong working knowledge of Ohio Building Code and ADA/Accessibility requirements• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills• Knowledge of specification writing• Familiarity with wood and hybrid structural systems• Multi-family design experience preferred
