Role: Security Officer (Armed) Location: Glenwood Springs, CO Shift: 8-12 Hours Schedule: Flex/On-call Pay: $23.00/HR, 90-day increase $23.50, up to $25.00/HR Requirements: Legal possession of firearm, firearm experience/authorization 21+ YEARS Reliable transportation Join our team as an Armed Detentions Officer at a county jail, where you'll assist law enforcement in maintaining the safety and security of inmates, staff, and visitors. You'll patrol the facility, enforce security procedures, and conduct inmate watches during medical or detox procedures. Legally possessing a firearm is required (training provided), and certifications such as baton, pepper spray, and CPR are a plus.
