Orlando Health is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our Ambulatory Anesthesiology team for our multispecialty ASCs. Join a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and advanced practice anesthesia providers in delivering exceptional patient experience with safe, up to date care, while being a catalyst to expand the organization's mission and achieve its vision. The case mix ranges from Colorectal, GI, Bariatrics, Plastics, Adult & Peds ENT, Urology, Spine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Ortho etc.
Essential Functions Collaborative member of anesthesiology department to work with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionalsEvaluate and formulate anesthetic plan for patients undergoing surgical and/or diagnostic careSupervision/Medical Direction of certified anesthetists delivering anesthesiaPersonally administer anesthesia intraoperatively with continuous monitoring of vital signs and titration of anesthesia neededOther Related Functions Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY ONLYNo Call, nights, weekends or holidays.Maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and proceduresAttends and participates in departmental meetings and educational initiativesTeach student anesthetists, residents, fellows or other learnersRole Requirements Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.Board eligible or board certified in AnesthesiologyAnesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements.Must hold or be able to obtain active Florida medical license prior to startNot a J-1 sponsored position.Experience Private practice and ASC experience preferred.New grads welcomed!Financial Package An excellent and highly competitive compensation packageGenerous starting bonusExpansive benefits portfolio - Starting Day 1Market competitive Paid Time OffMedical / dental / vision insuranceMalpractice coverageOwn occupational disability insurance403 B Retirement contribution with a healthy Orlando Health match457b / deferred compensationCME allowanceLoan repayment programs including PSLFParental Leave, FMLA, other Orlando Health Time Away benefits
