Job Description •Accurately complete checklist.
•Observe all company rules and policies, i.e., safety, attendance.
•Participate and work in a team atmosphere, positive attitude.
•Maintain high productivity and quality workmanship.
•Suggest design and procedure improvements that improve quality, productivity, and reduce cost.
•Responsible for keeping work area(s) clean and free of clutter during work time and at the end of shift.
Qualifications •Ability to read, write and do simple math.
•Good mechanical ability.
•Ability to accurately read tape measure. (Training will be provided.)
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings. (Training will be provided.)
•Ability to operate cold saws, iron worker, shear cut and bend sheet metal. (Training will be provided.)
•Ability to safely and properly use a wide variety of tools, including hand and power tools.
•Ability to safely and properly operate a forklift and/or other lift equipment. (Training will be provided)
•Ability to follow directions in standard practices and procedures
•Construction, assembly and carpentry background is helpful in this position.
