Assistant Director Of Business Development

Overview:
The Assistant Director of Business Development is responsible for assisting the Director with the implementation of the comprehensive community relations program/marketing plan. This position will coordinate and facilitate the referral development/sales process, obtain new business, and retain current business. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate marketing information and account management information.
Other responsibilities include managing special events on and off campus which promote Hartgrove Behavioral Health System and Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital as a progressive behavioral health system committed to the community; writing and editing internal and external communications; managing community outreach activities and exhibits; and writing and maintaining material for the Hospital's website.
Requirements:
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Nursing, or related field required; Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five to seven years of experience in a marketing position, of which at least 4 years should be in a healthcare setting.
Three years in a supervisory position.
Previous marketing experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
