Assistant Director of Corporate Quality Responsibilities: Leads team: responsible to coach and mentor to successIdentify quality problems by implementing a system to track all defects, returns, etc.Oversee and contribute to key company projects and new product rolloutOwns the corrective action implementation efforts post-customer feedbackLeads Root Cause Analysis Team on noncompliance, quality issuesMonitors and reports the performance of the quality control systemsReports status of plant's quality metrics at Quarterly Management ReviewSupporting activities to ensure reliability and quality standards with new vendor and/or new materialsCreates training materials and administers training sessions to ensure relevant quality standards and regulations are communicated and compliantWorks with ISO System Certification Company to maintain ISO CertificationsOwns the process of developing work instructions, test procedures, and implementation of policies and proceduresWrite clear Quality Management Standards and SystemsImplement change throughout the organization and report progressLeader on the continuous improvement teamIdentify potential risks and implement countermeasures appropriatelyOversee and implement processes for collecting and analyzing production samples and evaluation of qualityCreate and review statistical data and ensure the trends are going in the intended directionOversee analysts, technicians, and engineers responsible for quality data and storageParticipate in plant budget review and representative for quality operating budgetWork cross-functionally with purchasing, sales, and other relevant departments to maintain requirements and expectationsDirect production activities when known defects Assistant Director of Corporate Quality Qualifications: 5-10 years of Quality Manager experience in Aerospace Industry requiredBachelor's Degree in related fieldProficient in Microsoft Office, Excel is a must.
