Montclair Golf Club located in West Orange, New Jersey is seeking a career minded and upstanding individual to join their team as an Assistant in Training. This position is a learning and development role with upside to grow into a managerial role through continued education and progressive responsibilities. Club highlights: Green Dept. Schedule: 40-55 hours per week in season (March through November), 35-40 hours during off season. Green Dept. Staff size: 35-40 full, part time and seasonal (March through November), 15 off season40-55 hours per week during season, 35-40 during off seasonINITIAL PRIORITIES OF POSITION: Apply pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers as directed to maintain excellent condition of grounds and golf course; document and post online all applications. Compile reports of pesticide, herbicide and fertilizer use on the golf course and calculate use rates for all products applied on the property. Maintain proper inventory of products.
