Job Description:
As Assistant Project Manager, you support TynanGroup in the planning, execution and successful completion of premier development and renovation projects. From permitting to design to construction, you intake critical project information and equip the Project Manager with the insights they need to drive the project forward. You leverage critical thinking to solve problems, create value, and help our team deliver complex projects on time and budget.
Responsibilities: Become an expert in the details, key milestones and goals of each project
Walk the project site daily, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Assist in the development of the project roadmap, working with the team to create a detailed plan from pre-construction to close-out
Review and analyze architectural plans and technical specifications
Monitor the project's schedule and budget progress
Report directly to the Project Manager on the project's progress through all stages
Support project stakeholders by researching and synthesizing relevant project information
Perform administrative tasks as required, including preparing estimates and invoices and keeping track of the project's progress
Communicate as needed with the client, consultants, contractors, and builders
Represent TynanGroup on site and develop strong industry relationships with key partners
Provide project coverage when the Project Manager is unavailable
Learn and train to ultimately become a Project Manager, asking questions and taking meticulous notes about how to lead a project to success

You find creative solutions to complex problems. When issues arise, you work quickly to identify the problem, find relevant information, and assist in developing solutions.
You are agile. When a project plan changes, you adapt quickly, re-prioritize tasks, and help project stakeholders adjust accordingly.
