Associate Attorney (Government Solutions)

Our client is currently seeking an Associate with 2-4 years of relevant experience to bolster our State Attorneys General/FTC Practice in our Austin office. The ideal candidate will have a background in consumer protection and/or civil Medicaid fraud government investigations and litigation. While prior experience working for a state Attorney General (AG) or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Bureau of Consumer Protection is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and draft documents related to consumer protection and civil Medicaid fraud investigations and litigation.Collaborate with multiple partners across the firm on various matters simultaneously.Maintain direct communication and interaction with partners, lobbyists, and clients.Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative work environment with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.Uphold an exceptional work ethic and demonstrate adaptability in a sophisticated national practice.Requirements:
JD from an ABA-approved law school.Good standing and active membership in the bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.Timely admission to the Texas Bar will be a condition of employment.Exceptional legal research and writing skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
