Introduction to role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director for our Contract Operations team. This role involves leading a team that handles all activities related to Master Data, Contracting, Membership, Chargebacks, and Rebates across multiple customer segments. The Associate Director will work collaboratively with Account Directors, ensuring contract terms are aligned to intent and overall AstraZeneca requirements. They will also be responsible for reviewing payments for completeness and accuracy, managing revenue leakage, and effectively communicating any order, contract, and/or payment development progress, issues, and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
Accountabilities: As the Associate Director, you will be responsible for building and leading a team focused on timely, accurate, and efficient customer-related processes. You will develop and execute a governance process to ensure appropriate allocation of team resources. Your role will also involve managing staff, including performance management, development, and hiring decision processes. You will review and approve payment requests, manage dispute resolutions with Customers and Account Directors, define qualitative and quantitative metrics to increase efficiency/effectiveness, and maintain collaborative working relationships with both internal and external customers.
