The Associate, Investment Applications will support investments technology initiatives and be responsible for data and applications for use across our Investments Hedging, Investment Operations, Investments Analytics, and Investment Accounting teams. The primary role is to contribute to and support a well-governed data solutions architecture to ensure data and application flows are automated and offer end-to-end processing using a cloud-first enterprise technology stack. This role is based in our Jersey City, NJ office on a hybrid basis.What You Will Do:Implement strategic and tactical initiatives related to data infrastructure, data modeling, analytics/reporting, Python development, cloud computing (AWS and Azure), and applications development.Leverage AWS serverless technology (Lambda, Fargate, Glue) to provide cloud-based solutions.Design and implement data processing (ETL, ELT) and data approval workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues by leveraging SQL and AWS expertise.Operate in an agile development environment, applying DevOps principles.Collect detailed requirements for requests and develop solutions that meet requirements.Develop documentation and clear instructions for processes and workflows.What You Will Have:Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field.Minimum experience of two years in programming (Python, Julia and/or R) and proficient in SQL.Experience in building cloud-based data solutions in AWS.At least one year experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.Robust knowledge of data lakes, data governance and modern data quality techniques.Prior knowledge and experience in the fintech, investment banking or insurance industry.Excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.AWS certification a plus.#LI-Hybrid
