Job Description and Duties Under the direction of the Administrator I in the Compliance, Analysis & Validation Section, the incumbent provides support in assisting in the development of complex data models, analytics, and report visualizations for the various enforcement programs managed by the Filing Compliance Bureau. The incumbent will be part of the analytical support team within the Compliance, Analysis & Validation Section, providing assistance to the Filing Compliance Bureau (FCB). Utilizing existing and new Enterprise Data Revenue 2 (EDR2) data and tools, the incumbent will work in collaboration with the FCB business areas and managers to implement reports, models (expert and analytic), and other new filing strategies to inform and provide insight pertaining to tax noncompliance. The incumbent will evaluate the implementation of new technologies and methods to determine feasibility. The incumbent serves as an important resource for managers within the bureau; assists in planning and will analyze implementation of changes and measurements of success while advising management of operational impacts. The incumbent will also determine the effectiveness of operational policies and procedures according to divisional guidelines and departmental goals.

Working Conditions This position is eligible for remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
