We're seeking someone to join our Enterprise Technology Risk team as an Associate Risk Officer in Technology Risk Governance and Controls to support risk oversight of the Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) division that manages Morgan Stanley's global IT infrastructure. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Risk & Resilience Management III position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents. What you'll do in the role: > Lead comprehensive risk assessments for critical technology functions. > Develop, implement, and continuously improve the risk management framework. > Coordinate the organization's response to significant risk events. > Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of risk strategies with business objectives. > Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and other stakeholders. > Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance risk management practices. > Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to risk management. > Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives. > Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics#LI-SK1 What you'll bring to the role: > Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Risk Management, Business Continuity, or a related field, or equivalent experience. > Expertise in leading risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies. > Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and industry standards in risk management. > Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in the execution of risk initiatives. > Excellent communication skills, with experience in reporting to senior management. > Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. > Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders. > Experienced understanding of business line and discipline. At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role. Salary range for the position: $65,000 to $106,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
