Job Summary:
The Automotive Biller is responsible for processing and managing all billing transactions related to vehicle sales, service, and repairs.
This role ensures accurate documentation and compliance with dealership policies and procedures while providing excellent support to both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: Billing Processes: Prepare and process all invoices related to vehicle sales, service repairs, parts, and warranty claims.Data Entry: Accurately input billing information into the dealership management system, ensuring all entries are precise and timely.Documentation Review: Verify and review all necessary documentation, including work orders, contracts, and payment records, to ensure accuracy and compliance.Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide clear explanations of charges.Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, service, and accounting departments to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial reporting.Payment Processing: Manage the collection and processing of payments, including credit card transactions and financing arrangements.Reporting: Generate and maintain billing reports, summaries, and records for management review.Compliance: Ensure adherence to dealership policies, state regulations, and financial guidelines.Problem Solving: Identify and resolve billing issues or disputes in a timely manner.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.Previous experience in automotive billing, accounting in relation to month end processes or a related field is a plus.Proficiency in dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Skills: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.Basic knowledge of automotive industry terminology and processes.Benefits: Competitive salary with potential for bonuses.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holidays.Employee discounts on services and vehicles.
