Salary: $80,000 - 95,000/year This position requires an active Secret Clearance or higher. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AV Installation Technician with an active Secret Security Clearance to install, configure, and maintain advanced audiovisual (AV) systems across multiple Air Force bases. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and optimal performance of AV equipment in sensitive and high-security environments. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work within the parameters of government security protocols.
\n ResponsibilitiesAV System Installation: Install, configure, and test audiovisual systems including projectors, screens, audio systems, control panels, and related components in military environments.System Integration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to integrate AV systems with existing technologies and ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance to ensure AV equipment is operating at peak performance. Address and resolve any technical issues or failures quickly and efficiently.Cable Management: Manage all cable routing and wiring in compliance with safety regulations, ensuring all installations are neat, secure, and meet government standards.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and service reports, including system manuals and maintenance schedules.Training & Support: Provide training to end users on system operations, including remote support and troubleshooting, as well as ensuring the AV systems are easily operable for Air Force personnel.Adherence to Security Protocols: Work in accordance with Air Force and federal security protocols, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of classified and sensitive information during installation and maintenance activities.Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with other team members, contractors, and government personnel to ensure timely project completion. Communicate any potential delays or issues with the project manager. RequirementsSecurity Clearance: Active Secret security clearance is required.Minimum 1 year of experience in audiovisual systems installation and maintenance.Experience working with government or military clients is preferred.Strong knowledge of audiovisual systems, including video conferencing systems, display technologies, projectors, audio systems, and control systems.Familiarity with various AV equipment brands, including Crestron, AMX, Extron, and Polycom.Experience with cable management, signal routing, and system troubleshooting.
