Inviting applications for the role of AVP, Application Modernization Architect In this role, we are seeking a skilled and innovative Application Modernization Architect to join our team. As an Architect, you will play a pivotal role in system design, modern application development processes, and creating solutions for application modernization projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system architecture, modern application development methodologies, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities System Design: Lead the system design process for application modernization projects.Develop comprehensive and scalable architectural designs that align with business objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system designs meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. Application Modernization: Drive the application modernization process by assessing existing systems and proposing modernization strategies.Architect and implement solutions that leverage modern technologies and frameworks.Provide technical leadership in migrating legacy applications to contemporary architectures. Modern Application Development: Stay abreast of modern application development processes, tools, and methodologies.Advocate for and implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the development team. Solution Creation: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.Design and present innovative solutions that address client requirements.Create prototypes, proofs of concept, and technical documentation to support proposed solutions. Communication and Presentations: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Deliver engaging and informative presentations to clients and internal teams.Act as a technical advisor, providing insights and recommendations. Technology Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of a wide range of technologies relevant to application modernization.Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.Collaborate with the development community to share knowledge and insights.Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Proven experience as an Application Modernization Architect or similar role.Strong expertise in system design, architecture, and modern application development processes.Experience in migrating and modernizing legacy applications to cloud-native architectures.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to create and present technical solutions to diverse audiences.
