Job OverviewOverview:
Firetrucker is looking for a dedicated service industry professional with a passion for craft beer. We love to create great beer, have fun, embrace community, and deliver our products to our customers in ways no one else would. The tap room server will provide superb guest service, verify the age of patrons, ensure cleanliness, and use the POS system to track all orders and money generated in the tap room. This is a part time position with 30 hours maximum per week.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
-Deliver excellent customer service by acting with a positive attitude and connecting with customers. Discover and respond to customer needs.
-Maintain the condition of beer and products. Rotate stock and dispose of outdated products or less than optimum quality or correct temperature.
-Maintain a clean and sanitary work area: the serving and seating areas, equipment, storage, counter tops, tables and chairs. Clean and sanitize glassware and equipment.
-Provide information to customers on food availability from food trucks and local restaurants.
-Follow Firetrucker Brewery's operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security to ensure the safety of all employees.
-Follow cash management and Revention POS system policies including tracking of all orders in the POS system on a daily basis.
-Sell Firetrucker merchandise and record the sales in the POS system.
-Follow assigned work schedules for hospitality staff.
-Be educated on craft beer to help customers understand what beer fits their palate.
-Communicate all guest issues/complaints as appropriate.
-Greet guests in a timely and professional manner and, dealing with difficult customers situations
-Ensure that all guests are verified to be 21 years of age before purchase alcohol is allowed.
-Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
-Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture and values of Firetrucker Brewery.
Qualifications:
-Bartending and service experience required; craft beer industry is preferred.
-Deep knowledge of craft beers styles and brands.
-Ability to build relationships with strong interpersonal skills and effective oral communication
-Ability to learn quickly and be flexible with additional responsibilities, as needed
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Knowledge of several subjects in order to prepare reports, perform calculations and/or deal effectively with other people. Ability to read and write.
Physical Requirements:
-Constant standing/walking
-Occasional stooping, kneeling or crawling
-Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs
-Constant computer/POS Register usage
-Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around tap room.
-Constant receiving detailed information through oral communication
-Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas verbally

Working Conditions: The exempt-level position is considered to be 30 hours per week or less, but requires flexibility and requires attendance at special events and regular weekend work.
