Bartender Job Description
CONRAD'S Eat Drink Local is looking for a Bartender to add to our team at our Kearney location.
We are a fast-paced, high-volume local kitchen and patio.
The ideal candidate would have high-volume serving experience with knowledge of craft beer and specialty cocktails.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with servers, cooks, management, and other staff.
Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is desired.
Responsibilities Include:
•Be a Brand Ambassador
•Prepare bar with special attention to sanitation and order
•Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
•Pour drinks with accuracy
•Enter orders in POS system
•Engage with customers in a friendly manner
•Knowledge of the menu, cocktail/wine list and beer taps with the ability to make suggestions
•Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
•Collect payments from tables
•Show appreciation to our guests every transaction
•Assist in bar prep of fresh fruits and fresh juices for cocktails
•Complete opening and closing duties
•Follow running side work and end of shift side work
Bartender Requirements:
•Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment desired
•A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff
•Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
•Attention to cleanliness and safety
•Patience and customer-oriented approach
•Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
•Responsible and trustworthy
•Able to handle money accurately and operate our POS system
•Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
