LOCATION: Grand Lake Casino EDUCATION: High school diploma or G.E.D. EXPERIENCE: Customer service experience preferred; 1-2 years bar exp preferred; cash handling required. LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license; State issued id, State required liquor license PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires: the ability to carry heavy trays of food, dishes and glassware; good balance; ability to stand or walk for entire shifts WORK ENVIRONMENT: Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol-free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust and noise and bright flashing lights. JOB SUMMARY: Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests, observe responsible serving practices. SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Position requires good memory and focus; ability to work under pressure and to serve customers quickly and efficiently. Wear a Mask for long periods of time ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Takes beverage orders from guests and servers Prepares and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the bar's standard drink recipes Recognizes when a customer has had enough to drink Learns the names and personally recognizes regulars Accepts payment from guests, bar servers and cocktail staff; processes credit cards Washes and sterilizes glassware Prepares garnishes for drinks and replenishes snacks for bar patrons Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner Makes recommendations and answers questions regarding beverages Maintains cleanliness in all areas of the bar Receives and serves food orders to guests seated at the bar and tables located at the bar Reports all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to Department manager Assists the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies Fills in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department by assisting co-workers, supervisor or manager as requested Maintains working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and common drink recipes MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
