Front Office Coordinator

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete daily general office and administrative duties
Oversee the collect of required insurance co-payments and patient registration, as well as document and reconcile daily schedule
Provide outstanding and professional customer service to ensure efficiency and promote a positive patient experience
Verify insurance benefits
Monitor incoming phone calls and clinic visitors to ensure accurate, timely, and positive clinic communication, facilitation, and presentation

Qualifications/Skills: Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
High School Diploma or GED required
Two years of experience in a medical office, customer service, or other similar business setting preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
Physical Demands: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Functions under the general supervision of the Clinic Director, and under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical team. The Rehab Tech (Physical Therapy Aide) is responsible for preparing treatment areas, cleaning treatment areas, aiding in ordering supplies, setting up the exercise equipment, and monitoring and cueing patients throughout their exercise program. The Physical Therapy Aide may also be assigned routine clerical support tasks in support of the patient care experience. All functions are performed in accordance with facility, departmental, regulatory, and payor policies and procedures, and guidelines. Also responsible for aiding with patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling and rescheduling and general front office duties.
