Bookkeeper

You will work closely with accountants and clients to ensure financial records are kept up to date and accurate. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the preparation of financial reports.
Responsibilities: Maintaining general ledgers: Bookkeepers ensure that general ledger accounts are properly coded and reconciled, and they assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.Assisting with tax preparation: Bookkeepers may provide support during tax season by organizing and preparing financial records for tax return filings, including gathering supporting documentation and assisting with the completion of tax forms.Communicating with clients: Bookkeepers often interact with clients to address questions or concerns regarding financial transactions, statements, or reports.Reconciling bank statements: Bookkeepers are responsible for regularly reconciling client bank statements to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and completely. Qualifications: Prior experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role in a CPA firm preferred. Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software. Compensation: $55-70k + bonus
