Keller is looking for a Branch Accountant based out of our Berwyn, Penssylvania office.
Role Purpose Work closely with project management, procurement, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting, cost capture, revenue recognition and project billing.
Responsibilities
Project accountingResponsible for accounting activities for the designated projects including understanding of the job cost data capture, billings and sales agreements/contractsWork with project management to ensure costs are recorded in the correct weekly period and revenue recognition is in accordance with IFRS15Work with project management to develop monthly project forecasts, analyze and investigate variances to budget and to prior monthLead/assist the presentation of monthly forecasts for senior managementParticipate in ad hoc projects analysis as necessaryRegional accountingEnsure financial results are in accordance with IFRS and internal policies and proceduresIncome statement analyze and investigate variances to budget and to prior month of indirect job costs, shop costs, equipment costs, and general and administrativePrepare accounting period-end entries and maintain the accounting records in accordance with policies and controls including preparation of relevant reconciliations. Assisting with the corporate monthly close processPrepare annual regional budget and quarterly re-forecastsProvide support and justification for audit requestsOther ad hoc inquiries as they ariseAccounts receivableReview of and posting of project billings in correspondence with project managementProject statementsOverall management of collection courtesy calls and log details in GroundworksAccounting Coordinator to assistManagement and mentorship of regional Accounting Coordinator
Qualifications
Education and ExperienceMinimum of a college diploma or university degree in Accounting or BusinessEnrollment in CPA designationExperience with IFRS, application of accounting policies and account reconciliationsThree to five years related experience in accountingCommissioner of oaths is considered an assetKnowledge, Skills, and Ability RequirementsSuperior Excel and analytical skills, including experience with formulas (VLOOKUP) and pivot tables.Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing one to communicate with colleagues of all levels.Self-motivated mentality and the ability to work independently.Ability to prioritize tasks in an ever-changing environment and successfully meet deadlines.Outstanding organizational & presentation skills and attention to detailThe capacity to multitask and prioritize workload.The capacity to work alone or as part of a team.Discretion and respect for confidential information
Additional Information
Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
