Building Access Manager Location: Remote Description:
Responsible for the acquisition of new building access agreements in support of short-term and long-term company objectives, this role includes but is not limited to the due diligence required to identify property ownership or management, to secure the rights to perform site surveys, and ultimately negotiate the rights to add buildings to the company network and other building access activities as required.
The Main Responsibilities Negotiate and successfully secure Building Access Agreements in a high volume environment per guidelines set by Building Access management. Research and identify building decision makers and solicit approval to perform site surveys at physical property. Coordinate site survey and drawing requirements with internal project management. Coordinate with Corporate Legal in the negotiation and final form of Building Access Agreements. Manage the acquisition of Building Access Agreements and telecom access leases for new service locations and modifications to existing agreements as may be needed from time to time to augment company assets in such sites. Locations include property specific distribution POPs, technical sites and customer premise installations. Function as an integral part of a cross functional team that implements network growth in a timely and efficient manner. Manage and coordinate appropriate responses to Facilities related problems or (internal) client requests. Reporting of performance metrics for site access. Develop an understanding of real estate markets and build relationships with property owners, property managers, REIT's and other stakeholders in assigned markets. What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's Degree or 2 to 3 years of relevant job experience. Job experience with contract administration, contract support, corporate of commercial real estate management Experience interfacing with real estate professionals in a commercial environment related to telecom access, contract renewal, billing and invoicing. A desire to learn and develop the skills to negotiate complex real estate transactions, access agreements, leases and/or contracts on behalf of the company. Experience in project management with demonstrated capabilities in the management of multiple projects or priorities at one time. Demonstrated ability to deliver project results within budget constraints. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with key internal and external partners. Demonstrated organization skills to manage simultaneous projects across a regional geographic territory. Results oriented, customer focused, self-motivated with lots of initiative and creativity. Strong computer skills and experience with , Real Estate Database systems, Visio, Word and Excel. Strong time management and task-juggling skills with a proactive approach to problem solving. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
