Assyst is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our clients team in Austin, TX.
This position is primarily remote but the client requires candidates to reside within the state of Texas.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation, ensuring that system modifications meet business needs.
You will work collaboratively with various business areas and technical teams, facilitate scrum meetings, and provide user communication as necessary.
Experience in an Agile environment is essential.
Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Austin, TX - Remote (Candidates must be located within the state of Texas) Position Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Develop comprehensive business requirement documents and user stories.
Collaborate with business areas to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations.
Work with technical teams to coordinate system demos and facilitate scrum meetings.
Provide user communication and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct systems testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Assist with on-call support as needed during various project phases.
Required Qualifications: 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
6 years of experience in SQL.
6 years of experience in system reporting (Oracle, SQL).
6 years of experience in systems testing (Unit, Integration, UAT).
6 years of experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features.
2 years of experience in Project and/or Product Management.
2 years of experience using Jira for project management.
