Responsibilities Our client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with 6+ years of experience to lead projects related to computerized document creation, workflows, interfaces, and storage for criminal and civil systems, including the Criminal and Rap Back Information System (CRIS) project. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will perform complex business analysis and technical tasks such as project planning, process improvement, writing requirements, system design, data analysis, interface analysis, and system rollout. This candidate will serve as the Team Leader for a document management team and lead DocuSign eSignature forms, workflows, interfaces, and JavaScript development.
Lead the overall review, analysis, and evaluation of current business systems Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements Create and evaluate user requirements and system needs Elicit requirements using various elicitation techniques such as Brainstorming, Data Mining, Document Analysis, and Interviews with users Produce requirements artifacts such as Field Definition Matrix, Business Rules, and Interface requirements Perform gap analysis on existing requirements in conjunction with current business needs Contribute to and drive a collaborative effort to support organizational change management Facilitate risk analysis Participate in the creation and subsequent reviews of project test plans Lead all final user acceptance efforts with business stakeholders Define roles and access rights needed for applications Create training materials and provide end-user training Requirements At least 6 years of experience in business systems analysis Experience developing DocuSign eSignature forms and workflows, including customizing form behaviors using JavaScript Strong organizational, administrative, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and able to develop rapport and positive working relationships with coworkers and the agency at large Proficient in Organizational Change Management Prior experience implementing cloud-hosted Software As A Service (SaaS) solutions Understanding of business analysis concepts such as identifying and interpreting risk assessments Ability to produce requirement-related artifacts such as test cases, requirements traceability matrix, business rules, interface requirements, use cases, activity diagrams, error validations, and role-based system profiles Ability to manage security access and user profile management Ability to analyze functional and non-functional system requirements Ability to re-engineer business processes Ability to identify how new applications and business processes will integrate with or replace existing business processes Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to communicate with internal customers in nontechnical terms Proficiency with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) Proficient in creating business and system requirement Preferred Requirements Experience working on criminal justice projects is a plus Education/Certification Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required Drivers License Requirements Applicants selected must have an appropriate driver's license valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
